Born and bred in London, Chris has been trading from Covent Garden market since the age of 14. Initially starting out helping his uncle, Chris soon became a familiar face in the market whilst learning the family trade of greengrocery. Before long he opened his first stall in Hampstead and he was soon being asked by local restaurants to supply them with his quality produce, the business grew and soon a wholesale unit at the market was required and CSR was born…
Chris has provided exceptional quality produce with a personal service to pubs, delis and restaurants across London for over 25 years from our base in New Covent Garden Market. Using his experience Chris is always on hand to discuss seasonal produce and availability.
